Chick chick chick chick chicken!

17 Jul

This is unfinished, I am just waiting for the chicken to dry before I continue….

I found this pretty hard to paint at first. Yesterday when painted Yoko it was quite easy as it was simple shapes etc, but trying to get proportions right for a chicken was pretty hard, but cool to do!!!

Like yesterday I used my iPad and the Zoom feature. I took a photo of what I wanted to paint and then zoomed in on the photo of the chicken as usual, but getting the proportions right as it was fine detail was tough as I was zooming in, and out, and in constantly. It like wow! Ha yesterday it was really just around Yoko’s eye area for colours and the nose (the rest as well but I kind of got e general idea!)

Anyway I’ll put. Pic up of the finished article!!!

Anyone tried painting yet???

Below are some pictures, you can click on any of them to see a bigger version of them.

Here is the photo of the Chicken on my iPad.

Using my iPad to Zoom in to see the detail at a larger scale.

Using my iPad for reference as I paint.

Where I am up to – Kayley Rose’s version (incomplete!)

The chicken still isn’t complete after a good few days dipping in and out.. Haha the proportions aren’t goin well!!!!! Arghhh!(art therapy making me want to scrrrream) :p jokes!!Xxx
